Quinceañera kit

Her quinceañera, filmed by your guests, edited by us

The vals took four months to learn, so film it from the floor. Cameras go to the corte, the padrinos and the primos; they film the mass, the vals and the hours after it, and our editors cut it into a film your family will still be passing around in twenty years.

Your guests get a plan, not a lecture

Every quinceañera kit ships with table cards that explain the camera in one sentence and name six things worth pointing it at — the entrada, the vals, the cambio de zapatillas, the brindis. The cards go on the tables at the salón, not at the church.

Nosotros filmamos todo con los teléfonos y siempre sale igual. Esta vez la película tiene a toda la familia adentro, no solo el escenario.

Still doing research? Or is the quinceañera later this year?

Join the list and we’ll send you a reminder in good time — while there is still room to plan it properly. We’ll also check whether there is anything we can help you work out before then.

A rough guess is fine. We only use it to time the reminder.

Quinceañera specifics

Our parish won't let a videographer move around during the misa.

Most won't, and this isn't the same thing — the cameras are pocket-sized and stay with people already sitting in the pews. Ask your parish anyway, because the rules vary and some restrict recording during the misa entirely. If the answer is no, the salón is where the kit earns its money.

The corte can't hold cameras during the vals.

Hand off before it starts. The usual arrangement is one camera on the tabletop tripod at floor level near the edge of the dance floor, one with a padrino standing, and the corte's cameras handed to the tíos for the three minutes it lasts. You get the vals from inside the room instead of wide from the back.

It runs until two in the morning. Batteries?

Plan for ninety minutes to two hours of real recording per charge, so a twelve-hour day needs rotation, not luck. Every kit ships with a battery handle and a charging dock — put two cameras on it during the cena and swap. That covers the misa, the vals and the hours after.

Can we get the vals as its own clip, separate from the film?

Yes. Ask at the rough cut and we'll cut the vals as a standalone piece alongside the highlight film, using the closest angles. Two rounds of notes are included, so it costs nothing to ask for once you've seen what came back.

Do you need the running order in advance?

Not required, but it helps. If you send the order of the entrada, the vals, the cambio de zapatillas and the brindis, plus the track for the vals, the editors know what to look for in four hundred clips instead of finding it by accident. A few lines in the notes field is enough.

What if there isn't enough footage to cut a film?

You don't pay for the edit. If the kit comes back without enough usable material to cut a film, the editing charge and every add-on are refunded in full. You keep paying only the kit rental — 20% of the package price, less than the rental is worth on its own — because the cameras were held and shipped for a date we couldn't book to anyone else. It's rare, and we show you what came back before we make that call.
